CIFU has an oil palm plantation located in Muara Enim District, South Sumatra Province, Indonesia.The company has developed an integrated strategy aimed at (a) producing and processing palm oil products and (b) utilizing all the advantages of various natural conditions that make Indonesia one of the ideal palm oil producing regions in the world. This tropical plant thrives in favorable climatic conditions equipped with fertile soil and abundant labor availability. Of the multiple aspects of our company philosophy, the most prominent one is of familial virtue. Generally speaking, the relationships between employees here at CIFU are tight-knit, lively and full of communication. This can be seen from the proximity that exists within interpersonal relationships and the openness with which the company and the employees work together for mutual benefit. For example, annual evaluation meetings are held for each rank with topic of discussion that focus on making the work quality and organization better. Since health is very important there is also physical activities in the annual meeting. One of them is outbound educational activities that everyone could participate in together to improve teamwork performance. Employees also have ample opportunity to bond as they engage in sports activities together on every payday to maintain and improve physical health. Another prominent aspect is the high tolerance among tribes or religious people, as indicated by the company's tradition of always holding celebrations for every religious festival. This is one of CIFU’s efforts in strengthening mutual respect among tribes and religious people so as to create an integrated environment. CIFU also strongly upholds the sense of nationalism towards the Indonesian nation. This is manifested by the holding of flag ceremonies to commemorate the independences day of the Republic of Indonesia..
